Caribou Caribou

.
.
This one is one of my favourite. It shows the skull of a caribou- complete with horn and sort of Gothic way telling us that it hails from Texas.
I like the detailing of the magnet, each hole in the supposed wood where the skull is attached to.

What if I tell you that the material is plastic mix?

Yes, it may look rather scary/spooky but it is one of the highlights on my fridge. My daughter doesn't seem to appreciate it as much, tho. Whenever she can, she'll move it to the side of the fridge.

All Is One in Bali

This is a Hard Rock Cafe original fridge magnet. It cost me a bomb, really; it's like RM45 or something like that - but heck, I do have the intention of having a set of HRCs.

We got this in Bali during our second vacation there. The one that we went with my parents, siblings & aunts.

Venezia & Gondol.. la

Imagine taking this picture and making it into a fridge magnet:

ta-da!!!

This is my most recent fridge magnet from Italy. Shazwiom & his family went to Ireland and I think his flight stopover was in Italy; and hence, I stand to reap the benefit! This one is similar to the one Mrs Wood gave me, but nope, definitely not the same.

Rocking & Rolling in Cardiff

It wasn't me who was rocking and rolling in Cardiff but at least I got a piece of the goodness. Thanks to Mrs Wood, who gave me this fridghe magnet as a prezzie ~ my Hard Rock Cafe collection is slowly expanding.

Isn't this awesome? Thanks Mrs Wood.

Caesar Palace

Caesar Palace is certainly one of the best in Las Vegas. The place is awesome; I remember clearly from both my trips there in 1999 and 2006. It was like being in Rome; in those days, you know.

So since Izwan was there last week or so, I made him get me the authentic momento from the hotel. It was around USD 6, but this golden head of Caesar with the hotel's name in its famous font is now mine.

Beverly Hills 90210

remember the series Beverly Hills 90210? Yup, that one. I think they've made a remake of it, with younger generation. Anyways, Izwan went there and got me this:

All shiny and sparkly! Yup, my most recent piece of Beverly Hills. Probably the best we can afford from there!

Fountain of Youth

This is a Bellagio of Las Vegas original. I made Izwan went to each hotel and check out their hotel souvenirs outlet. He bought this at the gorgeous Bellagio Hotel. Yes, the hotel with the wonderfull dancing fountain.

It was one of the priceyer fridge magnet. USD8 each. But since he doesn't go there often (maybe only once a year - duh!) he bought it for me. He must have spent around USD60 for my hobby. That is excluding the Hard Rock Cafe fridge magnets.

The Scots Have Arrived

The old man is jumping for joy, as he not only has got Viagra, he is now shipped to Malaysia.

Received them from Doodlemom through Kakak. I picked them up last weekend, my first group of fridge magnets for the year! Nik said that these are belated as she went to Scotland much earlier but somehow didn't send them with the packages she sent me earlier. I should be so lucky! I have really awesome friends, who may not collect fridge themselves but they thought of me whenever they go holidaying. Ya Allah, murahkanlah rezeki kengkawan ku yang amat baik hati ni.
